November reveal Swirlydoos!!!!

First I would like to say a BIG thank you, for all the sweet comments you left me. Today I'm gonna share a few of my projects, which were created with Swirlydoo's November Beau Jardin kit. I truly adore this kit with all the romantic stuff that is in it.
First up is a page, about my little nephew.
I know I scrapped this picture before, but it just stole my heart.
Charming Little Man

and some close up's:
I used a mask to create the brick wall. I pulled out my white colorbox and then sprinkled it with Doodlbug white velvet. It looks so much better in real life.
These letters are from Petaloo. (color me crazy)
I first stamped the letters using archival, then inked them up with 3 colors distress ink, spritzed them with water and heat dry it. Then I added some glossy accents on several spots and sprikled them with Diamond Dust (glass glitter)

Beautiful dreamer
and some close up's:
Here you can see, that I first added a thin layer of Gesso to the background and after it dried I added some Puffy Paint.
I added a butterfly to the pic to cover up the sunglasses. The Beautiful Dreamer sign, came off of the product-code strip from Glitz "Beautiful Dreamer" paper line.
For finishing touch, I rubbed some Chrystal Stickles all over my page.

That's it for today, hope you like it.

Swirlydoos October reveal and....

some more.

I'll start with my pages, which I created with
Swirlydoos October *Midnight Waltz* kit.

First up is a page about Megan and our dog Dasha. They really are best friends and Dasha loves to lay her head down on Megan's shoulder.
and some close up's:
Next page, I used a picture, which I took in Mondo Verde (theme parc)
and I used the sketch that came with the kit.
and some close up's:
I added some Gesso - Crackle paint and then rubbed it with distress inks.
The DA frame was dabbed with acrylic paint, mixed with Gesso, and Another Dusty Attic piece was cut apart and used to make the swirls.
My last page for that month, I created with this beautiful deep red, embossed, die cut paper that came in the kit. I simply cut of some black and white strips that was on one sheet of the paper, added some lace and voila!!
and some close up's:
That beautiful metal embellishment, was a gift from Lisa (aka featherrs)
Thank you Lisa!!!!!!!!

And some cards I made with the kit:
I also did some cards for the Blog Inspired Card Challenge:

And last but not least I did a step by step photo tutorial on this canvas:
Lots of fun playing with Gesso. You can find the tutorial HERE

That's it for today. Only one more kit to update you on, and then we are all caught up.

Have a lovely day.

okay, here we go

In my previous post, I explained a little of why I haven't been around on blogger lately. I have been crafting in the meantime tho, and Swirlydoos had a few releases since. I'll start with posting my projects for Swirlydoos September *Rendezvous kit*
The first page is all about Ashley, of who we are so proud of.
She has come from a long way, and graduated earlier this year. The picture in my layout is taken whilst she was signing her documents.
This page has no title, cause all the little details are sybolic.
For example the word Amsterdam that is attached to the pic----- She had to make all her tests in Amsterdam, and signed her dimploma there.
here are some close up's:
My next page is about our youngest daughter Megan.
She is in the beginning stage of puberty so .... like every mom knows....
they can show you many many faces.
and some close up's
a little funky handstitching.
and my last page... he hee.... about my DH.
and some close up's
I sooooo love that gorgeous trinket.

And here are my cards:
First up, my tutorial card:
I did a step by step photo tutorial on this card, which can be found HERE
Hello card:
Get well:
Special moments:
For you:

And some other cards I made during the month September
The last one I created for my mom her birthday.

That's it for today. I'll be back in a day or two with my projects for October.

Have a lovely weekend.
