Second reveal Swirlydoos

Hi All,
Today I would like to share 2 more cards I made, using Swirlydoos November
NOUVEAU kit. Which is still (this is unique) for grabs in the
so, if you want one, you better make sure to get it while it's there.

okay here we go:
This card has so many layers.... I kept thinking, what if....
Here are some close up's:
The orange/peachy colored flower was white originally. I colored it with Lindy's Stampgang Magical Mica's. Love how it turned out.

This gorgeous tule trim and rose trim came in the kit too.
The "Imagine" rubon came also in the main kit.

I also got the Technique kit this month, which contained fabulous Faber Castell Gelato's and Smooch Spritz. And on this picture above you can see the shimmer of that awesome Smooch Spritz.

This frame/tag, came on one of the sheets of Kaisercraft's Periwinkle papers, that were in the Main Kit. I cut it out and with my exacto knife I cut it like it could open as a door.

This is the inside. The "Love" word came on the barcode strip, of one of the PP.

My next card is a blanco one. You can never have too many of those.
I love how this Shabby Chic card came out. I only wished that the shimmer it has in real life, could be shown in the pictures.

I tried too capture some of the shimmer here.

On the top right corner I added some Gesso, and while the Gesso was still wet, I sprinkled some ultra fine glitter on it.

The lace is build from several layers of fabric. And finally I added a string of pearls in the middle.
The metal clip at the bottom is from an old pair of trousers, when my girls were little. I splattered some watered down Gesso on it. That beautiful Petaloo flower came also in the main kit.

That is it for today. I still have so many stuff left from my kit. I didn;t have enough time to play with it. We are working on a scraproom for me... YAH!!!!! and boy..... does that suck up time! lol
I also got some lovely stuff from CHG to work with. I got the, cArt-Us Scandinavian - Christmas line to work with, so.... make sure to check back soon.
Also my Swirlydoos December DT kit is on its way and OMG.........
I can't spill the beans with you right now, but really
O M G
You will LOVE it!!!!!

Tomorrow I'll meet up with the Dutch girls (Gerry - Ingrid - Romy and Corina)
I'm so looking forward to it. They are the sweetest bunch!!!!
Well, I'm off of here now...
Have a lovely weekend you all!!!!

Hugs,
Paulien

Along with this BEAUTIFUL March, *French Quarter* kit, came this month's sketch:

When I saw this sketch, I immediately wanted to work on it, and here's how it turned out:

I painted my DA pieces with Irridescent Medium (Windsor & Newton) to give it MEGA shimmer. The roses are made from Tim Holtz's pinecone die.

I used lots of the negatives from the DA chippies and here I used it as a frame. Got it covered in Glossy Accents and micro beads.

When I saw that big black flower in the kit, I fell in love... It is so beautiful IRL. The burlap comes in the kit too.

Rae Is our hostess this month for the SWIRLYHUES challenge, and she put together this Storyboard:

And here's my example page:

To create the background I first started to add Gesso. I colored it with Distress Ink. When it was dry I added Glossy Accents and sprinkled some Glitter Glass on it. I also added Puffy Paint, which I colored with Distress ink.

Covered my DA chippie in Glossy Accents and sprinkled it with micro beads.

This kit is so versatile. The lovely Glitz Whatnot's have both feminine and masculine cards in it, and here's a card I made, with the masculine
Whatnot cards.

That big clip, is from an old back-pack. I thought it looked pretty cool on this card.

That's it for today, I'll post the rest of the projects I made, later this month with my second reveal.
