She inspired me so much.....

 

 

 

Who? You might ask....

I'm talking about a super sweet lady.

Stephanie Miller

 

She did a show last week on Life With Prima,

of her GORGEOUS, fun filled with pockets,

Engraver Mothers Day mini album.

She explained everything so well, and I LOVED that mini so much,

that I wanted to make one of my own right away.

 

I didn't have the paper bags she used, so I took some that I had in my stash.

I also used different papers and added some more pockets.

Here's how mine came out:

Front

 Mine is a little fat tho.... lol

 

 onto the back

 i'm planning on giving this album away, so I added these little alpha's.

 First look when the album gets opened.

 When you lift up the tickets .....

 This is what you see.

 and a pull out tag, to journal.

 another (top load) pocket, that contains 3 tags.

 I did a little spraying and stamping on the back.

 Another pocket and tag.

 next pages.....

 another pocket and....

 a little insert for pictures or journaling.

 And the inside.

 This is the middelest part.....

 And the flaps, which can be used for pictures - journaling or for a little embellishment, opened up.

of course, underneath the flaps, is another pocket which hold three tags.

 

 Here is the album opened up completely and as you can see, under the piano strip.... some more tags.....

Which can be journal cards or photo mats too.

 

I love how this album came out. I had a blast to work on it.

So many peek-a-boo elements.... I love it.

Swirlydoos March Kit

 

 

 

 

I'm very late this month, with posting my projects that I made using

The amazing Swirlydoos March, Vintage Chic kit.

 

But here we go!

 

12 Weeks

 

Our oldest daughter, Kelly, is going to be a mommy, and we are so HAPPY to become grandparents.

So... ****WARNING****

You probably are going to see a lot of maternity and baby papges from now on.

For the background, I first added a layer of Gesso and then wettened the paper to create all the wrinkles in it.

Then I glued some voile and other fabrics (that I got from IngridG - Thank you sweetie!!!!)

to the background and started to layer.

 

 

The Prima Marketing Engraver line has Is just so versatile and can be used for almost every subject.

The boy and girl words came from a Prima packaging.

 

 

 In the Main Kit, came this package of the new Ingvild Bolme's Junkyard Findings (nailheads)

and oh boy, how much I love those!!!

The 2nd part of the title (weeks) was made using the Prima Marketing Alpha Stickers and colored with Lumin Arte Silks Acrylic Glaze (Olive Vine) that came in the kit too.

 

 Sigh.... I love those amazing Prima Flowers!!!

 

As finishing touch, I brushed on some Iridescent Medium to highlight certain area's.

 This page is based on Swirlydoos monthly sketch.

And this time I wanted to follow it  pretty strictly.

The sketch however, shows 3 pictures. I took 1 picture but added, structure paste, frames.

 

 On the background cardstock, I added randomly some masking.

 

This beautiful jute trim came in the kit also. As well as the Prima Marketing Crystal sheet. 

 

 

 The shimmer you see, is Iridescent Medium, that I brushed on.

 

 

 

Carte Postale

 Yeah, this one has some pretty dimension, hasn't it?!

I took this picture while we were at a parc and when I saw Prima's Engraver line, I knew this picture would be great to use.

 

 This big flower is a handmade one.

 

 

 Some more handmade flowers here.

 

 I added texture paste with a palet knife to my rolled paper.

 

 

And here.... LOL....

I accindentally tore my paper, since it was still wet from the pink mist, whilst distressing the edges. So I tried to save this piece of paper and decided to roll it to the side and let some lace peeking out.

Love how it looked in the end, so all is good!

 

 

Congratulations

 It was my brother's birthday on March 23th, so I made him this card.

 

 This cool Prima Marketing Washi Tape, came also in the Main Kit.

 

Pretty Cute

 This card was made by using up the scraps .

 

Hello

For the life of me, I couldn't get a decent picture of this card. I think I shot about 20 pictures of it, and it just won't do justice to it.

 

 The key holds the, tri-fold, tickets in place.

 

 

 

Birdie

 

 I love how shabby this card came out.

Did some painting with the Lumin Arte Silks Acrylic Glazes, in Olive Vine and Honey Amber.

 

 

 I stained my lace in a cup of coffee.

 

Special Friend

Using up the last pieces of the Mainkit, and a gorgeous resin frame that I hoarded.

 

That's it! These were all made using the Main Kit.
