We have some absolutely beautiful scrapbook projects for you to see today !!
Starting with the cards I made using this beautiful kit....
I did a step by step tutorial on these 2, which you can find --->>> HERE
It is no acception that I like to use my scraps, and this card is just that! I used the cut out and cut off's from the card below. Krissy Always JAM-PACKS our kits so I used some stuff from previous kits as well.
This card is so pretty in RL (if I may say so myself) I wished that my picture would show you the delicate shimmer and texture it has.
Out Riding
These colors are perfect for a masculine layout. And what is wrong with flowers on a masculine page? In My Opinion ..... Nothing!
This is one of my favorite pictures of my DGS. The twinkle in his little eyes, I just love it.
This heart was hand-drawn (2 times) and I cut out the center of the top layer. Then covered it with a little piece of PP that came in the Mainkit. I also love the blue twine that came in the kit as well as the micro beads by prima. I added Multi Medium in a random patern and then sprinkle the beads over the adhesive. Let it dry for about 10 minutes and then shake off the excess.
These chipboard letters came in a previous Swirlydoos Mainkit. I painted them with Smooch and sprinkled them with ultra fine glitter. The on top of that I added some Viva Decor Perlen pen.
This flower was hand made. The big organza flower was made by cutting lots of petals and I lightly kit the edges with a lighter. Then glued them, like a flower, on a 1 inch circle base. The dark blue flower was actually a little fabric rose that comes in the Mainkit. I gently pulled it apart and stacked the layers. Then added a blob of Multi Medium in the center and sprinkled some Micro Beads
(from the Mainkit) on top of the adhesive. Then I lightly hit the petals with some more Multi Medium and sprinkle some Diamond Dust Glass glitter on the petals.  After it dried I glued a Bo Bunny rhinestone in the middle, which also comes in the Mainkit.

Here is an even more better vieuw.
Recently I got this Magnolia Rose leaf die, and I LOVE IT! Got it colored with
Art Anthology Sorbet - Dimensional Paint in leaf, which came in a previous Swirlydoos Multi Medium AddOn. I love the sparkle in it and it dries soooooo fast! Love that stuff.
Everytime I see this picture I go: awwww
This is our sweet dog Dasha. She really is the BEST!
This page contains lots of handmade flowers, that I had lying around and were a perfect match for those Beautiful BoBunny paper that came in the Mainkit.
I was jumping up and down when I found this little chipboard piece in the Mainkit. Actually there are 2 of them in the Mainkit. So Awesome. They fit on every page!!! I first geve it a coat of Gesso, then
(leaving the birds still white) a coat with Arth Anthology Dimensional Paint in leaf. On the little leaves I highlighted them with Stickles in lime (also from a previous Swirlydoos kit) and the birds got their belly and beak colored with Inklingz that come in this month's Medium AddOn.

I spritzed the (light pink colored) paper with water first. Let it set for a minuted and then roughly ruffled the bottom. Got some thread out and secured my ruffled paper. Tied the green thread and made a bow.
This is another handmade flower. I did the same  as I did on the flower that I used on the
"Out Riding page"
Colored my flower using Distress Inks in Tattered Rose - Victorian Velvet and Aged Mahogany.

I'm a cardmaker so I really love seeing cards featured on the blogs.
They are so pretty. The layouts are great too. I agree that there is no reason why there can't be flowers on a male layout.
thanks for sharing some great projects.
