a new page

A few weeks back, I shot a couple of pictures of my little nephew Tim.
Some came out pretty cute, like the one I used for my last page.

I created this page for the Tattered Angels contest over at SWIRLYDOOS.

Here it is:

for the background I used (once again) cardboard, which I crackled and distressed.

for the misting, I started with kraft cardstock and Creme de Chocolate (glimmer mist)
Then I added some pearls with liquid pearls by Ranger and a little stickles, to point out the image even more.

I also misted on burlap with aqua blue, and added some stickles-doodling.


I stamped with some distress stamps by Glitz design, a few words on the picture, using archival ink.


I squeezed some sisal together and gave it cross stitches.

These fun things, I found at a garden centre. Distressed them a little, using glimmermist, acrylic paint and chestnut roan ink. Glued them down using silicone gel.
